Among the objectives that you will drive the next 6-12 months are:
- Create a 12 month strategic roadmap for the internal employee experience
- Implement an HRIS
- Design and implement an organisation-wide compensation framework that drives human growth
- Recruit 2-4 more people to the People Ops team
- Participate in the recruitment of 1-3 key senior positions
- Implement leadership development as an ongoing activity
In all missions you will work closely with the senior leadership team. You report directly to Co-founder & COO, Jonas Bylov.
As Head of People Operations your overall responsibilities will be:
- Shaping and owning the employee experience vision
- Leading and growing the People Ops team
- Designing and implementing systems to drive clarity, accountability and human growth
- Create processes to effectively reward and retain talent
- Attract and hire top talent with a high performing recruitment organisation
- Build diverse teams of belonging
- Cultivate and strengthen our human company culture
- Create an ecosystem of learning
- Support the ongoing development of effective managers
At AutoUncle, this is a role with huge impact and we expect you to be a seasoned HR/People professional with prior leadership experience from a fast growing environment. It’s important that you understand the stages we go through in the evolution of the company and are able to navigate decisions on when to take long-term initiatives and when to compromise.
To qualify for the job we expect that you come with:
- Strong operational skills (meetings, goals, KPIs, collaboration)
- Strong people management skills with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership position
- Ability to cultivate cross-functional relationships and senior leadership. Drive influence throughout the organisation
- Knowledge of HR tools, applicant tracking systems, and data management/reporting techniques
- A coaching leadership style
- Experience from international, modern company(s) (OKRs, sourcing-driven recruitment, employee engagement, transparency)
- Experience facilitating training sessions for people in senior positions
- Prior experience in a role where clear communication was essential (presentations and written reports)
- Prior experience being the person that sets a higher standard in the organisation

Location: Flexible. To succeed in this role there are great benefits to spending face-time with colleagues on location (especially at HQ in Aarhus, Denmark), but we are open to talk to candidates about remote (within Europe) or relocation arrangements.
