Position: Head of Finance Services
The Head of Finance Services position is a strategic and operational role entrusted with the responsibility for effective and efficient management of the LNOC Finance Department.
The position reports directly to the CEO and is part of the LNOC Executive Management Team that drives the overall strategy for the organization.
The Head of Finance Services serves as an advisor to the LNOC CEO and the Board on finance issues—evaluating, analyzing, and assisting them with organizational financial planning, economic modeling, and critical decision-making.
S/he will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and financial regulatory compliance of the organization, ensuring proper adherence to both international (IFRS) and local applicable reporting standards, as well as IAS, in conjunction with all LNOC structures.

Key Performance Areas (Summary of Functional Outputs)
- Facilitate and champion the LNOC business continuity plan
- Manage strategic financing, including cost containment and revenue optimization, finance operations, and fund management
- Ensure effective management of the LNOC investment portfolios
- Ensure timely and quality reporting
- Ensure enforcement of effective administration and sound human capital processes
- Lead and manage a high-performing Finance Services delivery team
- Enforce good governance practices and high discipline
- Establish and maintain stakeholder relations
Specialized Knowledge & Skills / Competencies
- Good communicator at all levels
- Excellent negotiating & closing skills
- Good IT skills with proven experience in PASTEL Accounting
- Strong administration and numeric skills
- Good understanding of policy-setting & decision-making processes within tied benchmarks
- Strong presentation skills
- A sound understanding of financial management, with in-depth sport fraternity knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills
Required Qualifications
- BComm Accounting Degree or General Accountant Certificate and/or an equivalent qualification
- A Chartered Accounting qualification will be an added advantage
- Computer literacy in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Advanced Certificate in PASTEL Accounting Package
- Valid Driver’s Licence
Related Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in a Middle to Senior Finance Management role
