Head of Division, Principal Economist – Studies & Policy Analysis (SAD) – Ref: DHPAD
The Principal Economist SAD is a head of division managerial position responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical direction for the Division in delivering high-quality macroeconomic research and policy analysis. The incumbent will oversee divisional operations, guide analytical work, and support policy formulation and decision-making processes.
Areas of Responsibility
• Overseeing and coordinating the work of the Division, setting priorities and ensuring quality and timely delivery of outputs
• Leading the design and implementation of the Department’s research programme
• Providing quality assurance for research outputs and policy briefs
• Coordinating cross-cutting research and policy analysis activities
• Representing the Bank in technical meetings and international forums
• Providing strategic inputs into macroeconomic surveillance and policy formulation
• Managing performance and development of professional staff

Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Economics

Experience
• Seven years of experience in macroeconomic research and/or policy analysis
• Proven track record in macroeconomic research and publication
