Career Opportunity: Head IT Service Delivery

The Central Bank of Lesotho invites applications for the position of Head IT Service Delivery.
The role is responsible for ensuring the design, implementation, and operation of a robust and reliable IT infrastructure to support the Bank’s portfolio of application systems. This includes ensuring optimal performance, resilience, and service quality across the Bank’s computing infrastructure in line with operational excellence standards.
Areas of Responsibility
- Ensure network performance, systems availability, and uptime targets are achieved in line with the ICT Strategy
- Design and implement resilient and high-performing infrastructure architecture
- Manage and coordinate capacity planning for infrastructure requirements
- Analyse and coordinate infrastructural requirements for ICT services across all Bank departments
- Oversee end-user systems maintenance and support functions
- Provide oversight for enterprise-level applications support
- Manage maintenance, debugging, updates, and upgrades of enterprise applications
- Oversee the protection and upkeep of data centres and end-user equipment in collaboration with Facilities Management Services
- Determine and recommend appropriate hardware and software infrastructure
- Oversee and manage backend and frontend infrastructure patching and upgrades
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with policies, international frameworks, and standards

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a technology-related field or an MBA
Plus:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field

- MCSE
- CCNP
- VCP
Experience
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ relevant working experience in Information Technology fields
