Head Information Security Division Ref: HISD

To protect the Bank’s information assets from loss, damage and misuse, i.e. to ensure that integrity, confidentiality and availability of information is preserved, owned and controlled.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Developing, implementing and monitoring the Bank’s information security and IT risk management program based on adopted international standards e.g. ISO 2700x, COBIT, etc.

The Candidate will be required to:

• Articulating the business value of information security.

• Developing, maintaining and publishing up-to-date information security policies, standards and guidelines. Overseeing the approval, dissemination and staff training on security policies and practices

• Developing and managing information security budget and monitoring it for variances.

• Creating and managing information security and risk management awareness training programs for all employees and approved system users.

• Monitoring the external and internal threat environment for emerging threats, and advise relevant
stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.

• Overseeing IT systems recovery plans and implementation.

• Masters’ degree in an IT or information security field

• Professional certification in information security management is desirable

• 7 years’ experience in the ICT field working with risk management, with a minimum of 3 years at a senior managerial position
