Head Facilities Management Services: Ref: HFMS
Responsible for leading and executing the facilities Management strategy for the bank.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and implementing maintenance management strategies to ensure that all maintainable assets are operational.
The Candidate will be required to:
- Assets Management and maintenance – Manages the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to ensure that all Bank’s immovable and movable assets are well maintained;
- Strategic Planning – Oversees the planned short and long term strategic objectives associated with facilities management;
- Infrastructure Projects – Responsible for the Banks’ project delivery activities for capital/infrastructure projects in collaboration with the Projects Management Office;
- Contracts Management – Responsible for technical advice for contract drafting, performance analysis and maximization of operational and financial performance and risk mitigation;
- Safety, Health & Environment – Manages the upkeep of plant and equipment to meet health and safety standards, and ensure that all maintenance contractors adhere to emergency procedures of the Bank; Policies, Procedures and Controls – Coordinates the development and manages the implementation of policies and procedures that guide FMS operations and functions;
- Administration – Management of the divisional functions and reporting to management.
- Financial Management – Supervises the preparation and consolidation of the Bank wide capital and recurrent budget estimates, and the resultant budget performance reports;
- Compliance – Ensures compliance with the Banks’ regulations and relevant laws.
- Space planning – Manages infrastructure and space for maximum efficiency.

All candidates wishing to apply should have the above-stated behavioural competencies and any of the following minimum qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Electrical /
- Mechanical or Construction Engineering, or related field.
- Facilities Management Professional certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in relevant working environment, five (5) of which at managerial level.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft suite plus any of engineering applications)
