Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all kitchen operations
• Develop menus, recipes, and food presentations
• Prepare and cost menus to achieve profitability targets
• Monitor food costs, stock levels, and kitchen expenses
• Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards
• Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff
• Manage purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Support conference, event, and banquet catering operations
Minimum Requirements
• Diploma in Professional Cookery, Culinary Arts, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or Head Chef position
• Proven experience in menu development and recipe costing
• Strong knowledge of food cost control, stock management, and kitchen profitability
• Leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards
• Computer literacy and Microsoft Excel skills will be an advantage
