Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Hairdresser Lecturer located in Maseru, Tsenola. The Hairdresser Lecturer will be responsible for teaching and training students in various hairdressing techniques, including cutting, styling, coloring, and chemical treatments. The lecturer will prepare lesson plans, conduct practical demonstrations, assess student performance, and provide constructive feedback. Additionally, the lecturer will stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in hairdressing to ensure the curriculum is current and relevant. The role also includes mentoring students, facilitating workshops, and participating in faculty meetings.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Hair Cutting, Styling, Coloring, and Chemical Treatments
- Experience in Teaching, Training, and Mentoring students would be an added advantage
- Strong Communication and Presentation skills
- Knowledge of the latest Hairdressing Trends and Techniques
- Ability to create and deliver lesson plans effectively
- Excellent assessment and feedback skills
- Diploma/Certificate in Hair Dressing or relevant Hair Dressing profession
