KKM JV (a joint venture among YELLOW RIVER CO. LTD., SINOHYDRO BUREAU 3 CO. LTD., UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD.) are the honorable Contractor for the CONSTRUCTION OF POLIHALI Transfer Tunnel Lesotho Highlands Water Project–Phase II. The works via Katse Reservoir, through the Transfer Tunnel and Delivery Tunnel, to the Ash River Outfall between Clarens and Bethlehem in South Africa. From the Ash River, the water flows down the Liebenbergsvlei until it joins the Wilge River near Frankfort, before finally reaching the Vaal Dam in Gauteng, South Africa.
We now invite applications from qualified Lesotho Nationals & South Africans for the positions of Ground Geological Condition Probe Instrument Tester/Operator.

4. Work Period:
- From the time of employment until TBM tunnel boring is completed
- The expected employment period is 2.5 years, subject to appropriate adjustments depending on the progress of the project
5. Job responsibilities:
- Operate seismic wave method equipment or induced polarization (IP) method equipment to probe the ground geological condition, process the data and analyze the ground/rock fracture conditions and underground water conditions
- Strictly implement the on-site safety management system to ensure the safe and controllable operational process in underground tunneling conditions
- Complete other related tasks as arranged by the project leader
6. Requirements for appointment:
- Have practical experience working on underground rock condition probe by seismic wave method and IP method
- Familiar with the operation of the mentioned equipment and processing software and has on-site adaptability
- Healthy, adept with the operation in a tunneling environment, have good team cooperation ability
- Priority is given to those who hold a relevant specialty operating certificate or a qualification in underground geotechnical monitoring
7. Salary and Welfare:
- Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and skill level)

8. Form of employment:
2.5-year fixed contract that may be extended based on necessity
