Job Title: Graphics Designer
Location: Maseru Mall, Lesotho
Are you a creative mind with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail? The Signs is searching
for a talented Graphic Designer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design:
– Develop eye-catching and effective designs for various print materials, including
banners, posters, and signage at large.
– Collaborate with clients and our internal team to understand design requirements and project objectives.
2. Creative Conceptualization:
– Generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with client branding and messaging.
– Stay updated on design trends and incorporate fresh ideas into projects.
3. Software Proficiency:
– Utilize industry-standard design software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) to bring concepts to life.
– Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality design files suitable for print production.
4. Client Collaboration:
– Engage in discussions with clients to understand their design preferences and provide creative solutions that exceed expectations.
– Effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Quality Control:
– Maintain a high standard of quality in all design outputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
– Collaborate with the production team to address any issues related to design during the printing process.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a print or similar creative
environment.
– Proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
– Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting project deadlines.
Education and Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in graphic design and Printing.
