We are currently looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual in the position of Graphic Designer based in Maseru, Lesotho. The incumbent will report directly to the Head of Brand and Marketing – Lesotho. |
| Role Purpose | To conceptualize and design brand assets for delivery of both internal and external messaging and promotions. The core expectation shall be the design and production of creative work within the scope of the internal client briefs within the scope and parameters of the existing Metropolitan Brand Manual/Corporate Identity (CI). |
| Requirements | Degree in Graphic Design, Media Art, Interaction Design or other Related qualification3-5 years experience in Graphic Design in an agency or business environmentExposure to and necessary competence level on using design software to produce creative work including the use of Photoshop and Illustrator and other professional tools.Multimedia design skills an added advantage |
| Duties & Responsibilities | Capability to bring a brief from a creative concept through to digital asset production and print-ready artwork. Upholding the highest standards of visual design principles and signature expected.Understanding creative briefs and seek stakeholder and client feedback when required. Upholding the ethics and values of the business expected.Visualising and creating graphics, including illustrations, brand identity, and animations. Upholding original-thinking ideals and passion towards creativity and business objectives expected.Working closely with the brand marketing team of specialists and managers to deliver concepts and copy to ensure consistency. Teamwork and professional conduct expectedProduce original design concepts and deliverables on time and within the corporate identity framework.
