Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible for all Information Technology support. It is the incumbent’s responsibility to ensure availability of the systems, applications and networks. The incumbent must ensure the smooth transition of applications from User Acceptance Testing environment to Production environment and must ensure the security of the platforms as well as customer data.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Technical support on systems, applications and networks
- Testing of systems, applications and networks in User Acceptance Testing Environment
- Troubleshooting of systems malfunction
- Design, document and test Disaster Recovery Plan
- Provide timely support to business and customer care
- Solution design and documentation
- Prevent audit findings and action findings to completion where necessary
- Fraud Management: Complete access reviews and audit of the environment
- Risk and Compliance of all platforms according to standards and policies
- Monthly and Adhoc Reporting on uptime and performance of platforms
- Understand Business processes, rules and regulations.
- Ensures and enforces security measures on all platforms
- Management of customer data
Preferred Qualification and Experience
- Minimum degree in (BSc Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering) or any computer-related degree.
- Practical academic experience
- Working experience is an added advantage
Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise
- Database management (preferred: Oracle and MS SQL)
- Programming languages
- Understand Unix/Linux/Microsoft environment
- Project Management
