Position Title: Graduate: Business ControlThe main purpose of the job is to provide accurate financial analyses in line with company business strategies and plans. Further address any issues which might impact the business and secure an adherence to financial policies and procedures.
Reporting: This position will report to the Manager: Business Control (GTO: IM Pretoria)
Job Objectives
- Perform analysis of actual financial results and KPI’s to understand financial performance and risks.
- In the closing process, supporting the Business Unit with required business information to enable timely and accurate period closings.
- Participate in the setting of financial targets and business challenges.
- Drive, manage and develop local estimation process.
- Proactively and objectively analyse and describe the financial consequences and risks of business decisions.
- Working capital optimisation.
- Drive and monitor cash-flow performance.
- Performance and risk management within the respective area of responsibility.
- Drive and coordinate the investment process.
- Develop and measure financial KPI’s and drive actions to improve the business.
Education & Job Experience
- B-Degree in Accounting (B.Com/B-Tech)
- Financial knowledge and understanding of Financial function.
- Costing experience.
- Good budgeting knowledge.
