Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a grader safely and efficiently to carry out earthworks, road construction, and site levelling. The operator will also ensure that the machine is well maintained and operated in accordance with company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a grader safely and efficiently.
- Grade and level roads, platforms, and construction sites according to project requirements.
- Conduct daily inspections of the grader before and after use.
- Report any mechanical faults or defects immediately.
- Perform basic maintenance checks and keep the machine clean.
- Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work closely with supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Take proper care of company equipment and property.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience operating a grader.
- Minimum qualification of High School Certificate (LGCSE/COSC or equivalent).
- Grader Operator Competency Certificate will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of road construction and earthworks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work.
