Grade Controller (BU)
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
To track mining in the open pit and ensure efficient loading and hauling of ore to the Processing plant and efficient collection of data relevant for updating the ore body model.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 5 – 10 years’ experience in the Mining Industry in the middle management role;
• Degree in Security Management or equivalent recognised qualification;
• Good knowledge of the technical skills surrounding security technologies in the field of CCTV, Access Control and Diamond Control;
• Sound knowledge of Criminal Procedure Act, Law of Evidence and Security Law;
• Knowledge of Precious Stones Order of 1970, no.24

N.B. These are Mine based positions on a rotational cycle. Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg. Being a remote site, we require our staff to always show courtesy and cultural sensitivity to fellow Team Members and the surrounding local communities.
