SUN JV (a joint venture among SINOHYDRO BUREAU 8 CO., LTD, SINOHYDRO BUREAU 14 CO., LTD, UNIK CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD, and NTHANE BROTHERS PTY LTD) is the appointed Contractor for the Construction of Polihali Dam and Appurtenant Works under the Lesotho Highlands Water Project – Phase II.
We invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of Geological Engineer.
Position: Geological Engineer

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours Degree in Geology or equivalent
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years’ working experience as an Engineering Geologist in construction or mining industry
Additional Requirements / Remarks:
• Valid registration with a local authority; South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) and the SA Institute of Engineering Geologists is preferred
• Ability to execute independent geological projects, mapping, and writing technical reports is essential
• Experience working on large construction projects is an added advantage
• Applicants must provide supporting documentation demonstrating their capability
• A valid driver’s license will be an added advantage
