Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Diploma in Hospital Management/Facilities Management/Property Management/Estates Management/ Domestic Services;
- Five (5) years’ related work experience in General Supervisor Services;
- Proven experience in supervising will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and implements NUL policies and procedures as they relate to NUL interior cleaning services
- Prepare tender documents for interior cleaning for NUL Buildings (outsourcing cleaning scope of work)
- Ensure robust procurement and tendering processes of goods and services are applied in all areas
- Prepare section’s annual work plan and submit to GMS
- Prepare section’s annual budget and monitor its performance
Leading and supervision of interior cleaning NUL Staff and Contractors:
- Setting daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
- Monitoring performance and standards
- Ensure indoor cleaning is done all the times
- Serve in a variety of Committees and Commissions of the University as required at the DCS
- Oversee the procurement of linen, curtains, cleaning materials, detergents, bedding for NUL Buildings
- Responsible for laundry services for departments equipment
Oversee the decorations and management for NUL events/functions such as:
- Graduation ceremonies
- Workshops and meetings
- Memorial services
- Orientations etc.
Procurement of Academic Regalia:
- Specify the technical requirement and standards for design
- Procurement of Senior Management Academic Regalia (Executive Management and Deans)
- Procurement of Graduates Academic Dress (gowns, hoods, etc.)
- Responsible on Academic Regalia sales
- Prepare section’s monthly work progress and submit to GMS
- Attend monthly meetings for DCS
- Delivering good customer services to staff and students
- Assisting with the development and review of workplace-related occupational health and safety policies and procedures
- Assess (evaluation) the work performance of staff and contractors and identify areas needing improvement
- Work with staff under his/her supervision to develop performance plans, provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Assist in the recruitment process of staff for Department of Campus Services (DCS)
- Assist in disciplinary processes as may be required in consultation with General Manager Services
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time
