The main purpose of the job is to establish and develop a local and Exports dealer network according to customer and industry requirements which is profitable and representative of the brand, whilst enabling Volvo Trucks Southern Africa to achieve its required market share.

Job Objectives
Strategic
- To assist in compiling a dealer strategy to ensure adequate representation in the market and within developing markets.
- To obtain Dealer Financial performance information, analyse and report risk areas to Volvo Trucks Southern Africa management.

To set minimum requirements and best practices in the dealer network.

To develop a business viability model for dealers, to ensure sustainable dealer viability.

To identify dealer development needs in order to ensure optimal Dealer performance.

Identify new opportunities in order to secure Volvo Trucks Southern Africa presentation in Commercial Market aligned with VTI strategies.

Manage CSI systems and tools in line with Volvo Truck Southern Africa’s strategic Objectives.
Operational

To provide Business Management coaching and training to Dealer network

To implement Dealer Development programs according to Dealer Network needs

To manage measurement of Minimum and Best Programmes at least twice per year.

Manage and control dealer financial reporting system and ensure reporting is done timeous and accurate.

Communicate financial and market information internally on a monthly basis, and identify risk areas for action by the departments.

Establish Dealer performance groups to improve Network performance.

Manage new dealer appointment process.
Customer Focus
Education and Job Experience

Must have a B Degree in Business Management / Financial Management with 3 to 5 years relevant experience

Must have 5 years in Financial management preferably in a dealer environment

Someone already in an aftermarket Dealer network environment with a solid financial background
