About the Job
Maluti Energy is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its fuel retail station and wider business operations. The successful candidate will drive business growth, oversee daily operations, manage financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies and growth plans.
- Oversee sales, procurement, inventory, fuel stock, and supply chain operations.
- Manage budgets, cash flow, costs, and profitability.
- Lead employees and maintain high performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Strengthen internal controls and manage operational risks.
- Build stakeholder relationships and report to the owners or Board.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- At least five years’ relevant management experience, preferably in petroleum retail, fuel distribution, chemicals, or logistics.
- Proven ability in operations, financial management, staff supervision, and business development.
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, negotiation, and computer skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Sesotho is an advantage.
- A relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification is advantageous.
