About the Role
The HR & General Manager will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing administrative operations, and supporting the overall success of the company.
This role requires:
- An analytical thinker with strong leadership skills

- The ability to manage diverse teams and functions
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Develop and implement HR strategies and policies aligned with company goals.
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs.
- Track and analyze HR metrics to improve performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead and mentor the HR team.
- Implement talent acquisition and retention strategies.
General Management
- Oversee administrative functions, including office management, procurement, and planning.
- Develop and manage budgets for HR and administrative departments.
- Ensure efficient communication across departments.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Implement and maintain company policies and procedures.
- Support the development and execution of strategic initiatives.
- Ensure a safe and efficient workplace.
- Assist in risk management and compliance efforts.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in the mining industry is an added advantage.
