1) Title: General Manager

2) Summary

We are looking for a qualified and professional Hospitality Manager to join our team. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful operations of Thimo and Sons Guest House to ensure guest satisfaction and enhance the facility’s reputation among travelers. She/he should maintain excellent relations with existing customers as well as the new ones. If you are fit for this role and want to be a part of our exceptional team then, apply right away. 3) Reporting relationships

The general manager will report to the Director and supervises all staff

4) Tasks, duties and responsibilities

a) Lead the team as a leader and take ownership of all the activities.

b) Handle the day to day operations by coordinating with all the sections/units.

c) Recruit new staff and train them according to guesthouse policies.

d) Develop and improve existing policies and procedures ensure they are adhered to

and maintain the standards and quality of the services provided.

e) Evaluate the staff along on the basis of performance and participation.

f) Ensure that customer satisfaction is always a priority for the staff.

g) Improve guest satisfaction by providing extraordinary customer services.

h) Maintain excellent customer relations with the guests.

i) Determine the quality of the services provided by the guesthouse and ensure that the standard is maintained.

j) Handle customer complaints patiently and professionally and resolve them on time.

k) Determine the future goals for the guesthouse and ensure that they will be achieved.

l) Make financial reports on the basis of operational activities and expenses.

m) Manage budgets, stock and inventory and property

5) Knowledge, skills, abilities, and characteristics

a) Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management or relevant field. Bachelor’s degree would be an added advantage.

b) 4+ years of working experience working as a Hospitality and Tourism Manager or a similar role.

c) Exceptional hands-on experience in food and beverage services.

d) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

e) Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

f) Exceptional time management and crisis management skills.

g) Attention to detail.

h) Proficient in MS Office.

i) Excellent in Information and Communication Technology.

j) Knowledge of the PMS (Property Management System) program and DRS (Daily Revenue System) program will be an advantage.

k) Valid driver’s license,
