CWSA (Child Welfare South Africa) is an umbrella body representing 164 child welfare affiliates, 30 developing organisations, 25 outreach projects and 206 communities. Collectively we reach about 2 million children, their families and caregivers. Consisting of 1200 staff members and 3500 volunteers.

Child Welfare South Africa in the picturesque Kleinmond, Western Cape requires the services of a dynamic and passionate General Manager to take responsibility for the overall management and guidance of the Child Protection office, Children’s home, After-school centre as well as pre-schools.

Main responsibilities:
Strategy creation, implementation, and overall operational management of the organisation
Personnel management
Financial and administrative management
Professional liaison with all stakeholders
Marketing, fundraising, and funding proposals
Community liaison
Reporting to the Board
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification
Appropriate professional experience (approximately 5 years) in a management position (within a similar environment will be advantageous)
Strong people management skills and well-developed emotional intelligence
Proven administrative skills (computer literacy, finance, HR, etc.)
Excellent planning, organising and decision-making abilities
