Tsebo Site Solutions is seeking a General Assistant to support cleaning and hygiene operations at our site in Maseru. The successful candidate will ensure all assigned areas are clean, hygienic, safe, and compliant with health and safety standards, while contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the unit.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in kitchens, canteens, dining areas, and other assigned spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitise floors, surfaces, and equipment
- Ensure proper waste management and recycling compliance
- Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock needs
- Follow strict hygiene protocols and health & safety regulations
- Assist with food service tasks when needed (e.g., serving beverages, clearing tables)
- Support the implementation of cleaning schedules and checklists
- Report hazards, maintenance issues, and safety risks promptly
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills (English essential; additional languages an advantage)
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Familiarity with Health & Safety procedures
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Physically fit to handle manual tasks
- Previous cleaning experience (catering/hospitality preferred)
Qualifications
- Matric (or equivalent qualification)
