Reporting into the Quality Manager, you will work alongside a team of Garment Technologists who support the merchandise buying team. The core responsibility of this role would be the critical assessment of merchandise samples i.e. assess fabric, fit and styling. You also assess the quality and construction methods employed to improve the quality of the garment.
This role does include travel. You would visit suppliers to audit the quality of bulk deliveries. You also travel out to our stores to audit the quality of goods on the shop floor.
You are also responsible for completing all of the administrative requirements related to this process.
The minimum requirements for these Career opportunities are:
- Diploma in Clothing Technology or Fashion Design
- 2 – 3 years experience
- An understanding of fabrics, pattern making and grading
- Driver’s license preferable
