African Children Feeding Scheme (ACFS) is a nonprofit organisation (NPO) that promotes and supports inclusive education practices in schools and preschools throughout the country. The organisation’s core focus is the implementation of funded projects designed to sensitise and empower all role players to an inclusive approach to educating the children in their community.
ACFS seeks to appoint a Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator to be based in Johannesburg, to provide support to the Executive Director with Fundraising & Proposals Development.
Pay Grade: Per ACFS’s Remuneration Policy Framework
Duties:
Corporate Research and proposal development
Donor report writing
Tracking of Donations
Attend to donor’s queries
Founding documents management and update
Bank Letters Management and update
Tax certificate management & accounting
Electronic filing and data management
Donor Stewardship & Acknowledgements
Donor Visits/Tours Management
Proposal development, Reports and Applications support to the Executive Director
Researching potential funders
Writing funding proposals and sending these to potential corporate donors
Creating marketing and promotional activities
Developing and managing fundraising events ( Golf days, Gala Dinners, Walks etc)
Meeting with potential funders
Organizing campaigns that will lead to donations
Website and social media management and oversight
FB posting for daily activities, e.g. Launches, Reaching out to Radio & Local media
For good outreach & Needs broadcast
Newsletters publication(bimonthly)
Annual Reports, Publications & all Marketing material
Photo Shoot
Team Building events
Market Days
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in public relations or non-profit management
Skills in Marketing, Advertising & Events Management
