About the Position
Providere Academy, incorporating Annabelle Pre-School, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for the position of French Teacher for the 2027 academic year.
The successful candidate will teach French to young learners using engaging, age-appropriate teaching methods. The role involves developing learners’ French language skills in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation through interactive activities that make learning enjoyable.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of DELF B1 certification or an equivalent recognised French-language qualification.
- A diploma or degree in French Language Education.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Previous teaching experience, particularly at primary school level, will be an advantage.
- Ability to teach French vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation.
- Ability to develop engaging, age-appropriate lessons using songs, games, and interactive activities.
- Good classroom management, communication, and lesson-planning skills.
- Willingness to undertake relevant Cambridge curriculum training where required.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach French vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, and conversation.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons suitable for young learners.
- Use songs, games, and interactive activities to encourage participation and language development.
- Assess learners’ progress and support the development of their French language skills.
- Participate in relevant Cambridge curriculum training where required.
- Maintain effective classroom management and uphold professional teaching standards.
