Role Description
This is a temporary, hybrid role for a French and Geography Teacher, based in Maseru, with the option of completing some work from home. The teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging lessons in both French and Geography, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Additional responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with other educators and staff to enhance the education experience.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Qualified Teacher and a strong background in Education
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and the ability to create engaging, educational content
- Expertise in teaching French and Geography, with the capacity to teach effectively in both subjects
- Patience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills to work with diverse learners
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred
- Fluency in both written and spoken French and English
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, French, Geography, or a related field
