Freelance Writer – Sanjay Patel Project
We’re seeking writers with preschool writing experience who have knowledge of Hindu deities, as well as mythology and Indian culture. We’re looking for someone who has been immersed in the culture and can draw from their lived experiences.
What You’ll Do:
- Suggest cultural or mythological areas that would be of interest to kids
- Write springboards, premises, outlines, and scripts for 11-minute animated episodes
- Be available for meetings (either in person, video conference or phone) with the team in Los Angeles
- Be thoughtful in creating work that is producible for animation
- Troubleshoot and proactively address notes
- Meet deadlines from concept to final deliverables
- Collaborate with grace, humility, inclusion, and open mindedness
What You’ll Need:
- TV Series writing experience
- Experience writing for preschool-aged audienced
- Produced writing samples and/or credits demonstrating excellence in dialogue, character development, and entertainment
