As a resume writer, you will have the opportunity to both review resumes and write resumes from scratch while managing your own work schedule and work load.

Responsibilities:

• Write resumes from scratch with client-provided data
• Edit and rewrite existing resumes
• Provide resume critiques according to BlueTek’s resume best practices

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with incredible attention to detail
• Experience writing and/or editing resume content, including crafting new content and making strategic decisions about what to include and what to remove
• Expert-level knowledge of MS Word – ability to reformat documents quickly and easily
• Comfortable communicating with diverse customers
• Patience and flexibility when responding to feedback
• Working and reliable access to a computer and the internet
• Self-starter with superb time management and organizational skills – resumes must be turned around within a very short time period
• Solid understanding of various industries and job functions including entry level, technical, professional, and executive roles
• Knowledge of various resume formats, ATS capabilities and the ability to determine the best formats for each individual
• Computer with MS Word, reliable internet access, and quite place to work

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity with LinkedIn profiles and flexibility to tackle additional services
• Recruiting or talent acquisition background
• Sales and marketing experience
