ClearVoice, a SasS technology and services company in the content marketing space, is looking for a few passionate Freelance Managing Editors to help our clients produce on-brand, well-sourced and clean copy.
You may work on client projects across various industries or if you specialize in a particular industry, several clients with that focus. Either way, the ideal candidate will be comfortable switching between clients multiple times throughout the day and interfacing with writers as needed to discuss revision requests and address style questions.
As an in-platform Managing Editor you will directly supervise editorial projects for ClearVoice customers.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of freelance writers in the platform to plan, produce and deliver exceptional content
- Ensure work is delivered on time and within budget
- Ensure editorial guidelines are followed
- Tracking and implementing client feedback
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of content production/journalism experience with demonstrated results
- Significant editorial experience including time as a Managing Editor
- Excellent research, writing and editing skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A passion for technology and its role in supporting content creation
