We are looking for some skilled and efficient freelance artists to support our art team during the busy seasons. This is a part-time seasonal remote position. Our busy seasons are congruent with the academic calendar: peak art and production times are spring (early February-mid May) and fall (mid-August-November). Though working hours are flexible, some availability between normal working hours (8-5 CDT) is required for communication.
Required skills:
- expertise with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- previous design experience
- some illustration experience
Preferred qualifications:
- experience with screen print files and/or t-shirt design
- ability to meet short deadlines and design efficiently
- very organized with time, communication, formatting, and files
- communicative and able to receive feedback
- ability to follow instructions
Required tools:
- computer or tablet equipped with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CS4 or higher
- consistent access to internet
- a Google account for file sharing
