Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support for Windows OS, desktop applications, customer applications, Active Directory, network connectivity, printers and other peripherals, hardware support, remote connectivity.
- Provides direct technical, operational, and security awareness Support for all Windows or Mac desktops, laptops, hardware, and OS application issues. Engages with users’ onsite at the customer’s location or support remote per need to troubleshoot resolution and request fulfillment.
- Perform workstation patching, application deployments, and software upgrades
- Deploy permanent fixes or workarounds and escalate to other teams if necessary.
- Manage problems through resolution with clear communication and status updates for affected users and management.
- Write technical procedures for configuration and deployment of hardware, software and related products.
- Provides troubleshooting of Active Directory and cloud services including MS Office, Office365, Adobe Creative Cloud and other applications.
- Builds and maintains images for PC desktop & laptop computers for all business units. Installs and maintains all associated desktop & laptop equipment.
- Must be highly organized, able to multitask efficiently in a fast paced environment, and have good follow up skills
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 plus years of experience on Windows or MacOS is required
- Microsoft Windows 7, Server 2008, 2012, 2016 Operating Systems
- MacOS and IOS Operating systems and devices
- Linux Operating Systems –
- Cyber Security Fundamentals
- TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, VPN Networking
- Intermediate Network Administration
- Troubleshooting of Windows, MacBook’s, Linux, PC, Laptops basic Network Issues
- Good knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating Systems and productivity software (MS Office).
- Understanding of Active Directory and group policies, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM.
Skills:
- Windows OR MAC OS and application support
- Virus Protection and Updates
- Security Patching
- Keeping all documentation and diagrams up to date and accurate
- Performing all daily checks consistently and resolving issues
- Windows OS All versions, OR MAC OS All versions & Linux good to have.
- SCCM
- Sophos
- MS Office All versions.
