Our life-changing programs continue to grow and we’re looking for a Foundations Advisor to help guide new students through the first stage of their coding journey with Fullstack Academy.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Foundations Advisor at Fullstack Academy, you will support students at the beginning of their student journey with Fullstack. You will be their point of contact as they complete their pre-campus Foundations program, setting them up for a successful experience in the immersive program. You’ll collaborate with the manager of the Foundations program to identify and implement new ways of making Foundations an excellent first experience for our newest students.

This role is a full-time remote, work-from-home role, reporting to the Senior Software Engineer who manages our Foundations Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will:

  • Support and coordinate the operations of our Foundations program:
    • Creating Google groups and calendars and participant communications
    • Enrolling students into the Foundations program and assigning their work via our Learning Management System
    • Following up with students regarding their progress and status in the Foundations program, including
    • Coordinating the Foundations Mentorship program and connecting Foundations students with successful Fullstack Grads
    • Manage non-technical support and general student questions
  • Collaborate with the manager of the Foundations Program to identify and implement operational improvements to

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a great candidate for this role if you have:

  • 1+ year of admissions, inside sales, customer service, or operations experience in an education setting
  • A warm, empathetic, and patient communication style
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating projects involving multiple moving parts and members
  • Experience using a variety of productivity and business intelligence tools, especially Google apps and Excel
  • A passion for education and helping people
