Focus on the Family Africa is a nonprofit organisation that focuses on serving families in Africa since opening its doors in 1992. For over 23 years, they have been providing care, advice, support and encouragement to families at every stage of life. They have worked hard to respond to the many real issues families face and to provide sound and practical guidance based on Christian principles.
Focus on the Family Africa seeks to appoint a Bookkeeper , to be based in KwaZulu-Natal.
Duration: 6 Months
Start date: 1 September 2019
Requirements:
- Bookkeeping/accounting qualification
- Minimum of three years experience
- High level computer literacy
- Personal attributes required:
- Accuracy, attention to detail and honesty.
The bookkeeper will also assist with other duties relating to the accounting cycle and will assist with the annual audit. A knowledge of Pastel/Sage and advanced Microsoft Excel will be an advantage. The ability to work as part of a team is essential. A sense of calling to help families thrive in Christ, with a strong character reference from your pastor is helpful.
