Food and Beverage Manager
Afriski Mountain Resort invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the positions of a Food and Beverage Manager at its site at Mahlasela Pass.
Job Responsibilities
You will:
- Manage and oversee all food and beverage operations across the resort.
- Ensure high standards of service quality, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement efficient operating procedures.
- Control food and beverage costs, budgets, and stock levels.
- Supervise, train, and motivate food and beverage staff.
- Coordinate closely with the Head Chef and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations.
- Plan and manage food and beverage services for events and peak seasons.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Food and Beverage management role.
- Experience in hotel, lodge, or resort environment (high-volume preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sound knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Proven experience in cost control and budgeting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and peak seasons.
