Letšeng seeks to engage a qualified Mosotho professional with appropriate skills and aptitude to fill the position of FINE XRT PLANT OPERATOR (PATERSON BAND CL).

PURPOSE: Reporting to the Fine XRT Recon Plant Supervisor under plant production in the Treatment Department. The candidates will be involved in operating, maintaining and reporting of performance on a daily basis.

MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring compliance with all HSE programme requirements
• Operate and maintain the Fine XRT Recon Plant
• Help measure Plant efficiencies to the standards established
• Analysis of Plant Metallurgical data and Solve problems based on data.
• Ensure the plant is operated within specified standards
• File reports for the purpose of auditing exercises
• Bring practical issues and problems relating to the plant operation to the attention of the supervisor
• Ensure Plant Maintenance is carried out according the plan
• Production of routine reports on inspection and maintenance Assist in monitoring occupational health and safety performance

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum requirement of Diploma in Metallurgy/Process/ Chemical engineering field
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years working experience in a production environment
• Plant and Process control experience will be an added advantage
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
• Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s license
• Good communication skills both verbal and written

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates will be required to undergo a Medical Examination of Fitness as per requirements
• Candidates will be required to undergo Letšeng Mine pre-employment integrity testing and security background checks, where deemed necessary
