Letšeng seeks to engage a qualified Mosotho professional with appropriate skills and aptitude to fill the position of FINE XRT PLANT MILLWRIGHT (PATERSON BAND CL).
PURPOSE: Reporting to the Fine XRT Recon Plant Supervisor under plant production in the Treatment Department. The candidates will be involved in dismantling and repair of equipment in the Plant, fabricate, align and fitting of parts for structural metal products and the maintenance there off.
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensuring compliance with all HSE programme requirements
• Assist execution of planned and unplanned maintenance as per schedule or on request
• Assist with the welds (steel and HDPE), bolt joints, flame cutting and bonds (conveyors), to assemble components into products or structures and repair sheet metal items and electrical equipment
• Installation of electrical equipment and the termination thereof
• Trim, file, grind and smoothen surfaces and assemble parts using hand or power hand tools
• Assist with daily inspections on equipment within area of responsibility and plants
• Participate in daily planning of tools and material required to conduct maintenance
• Production of routine reports on inspection and maintenance Assist in monitoring occupational health and safety performance
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Minimum requirement of COSC with a qualification of Millwright
• Minimum of 2 – 3 years working experience in a production environment
• Diploma in Electro Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent will be an added advantage
• Good Knowledge of arithmetic, Algebra, geometry, calculus and their application
• Light Motor Vehicle Driver’s license
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
