- Release payments for companies (South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini)
- Approval of foreign payments
- Release purchase requisitions for shared services
- Review of shared services income statement
- Manual Assessments
- FM Swap review
- HFM validations for warranties and trade receivables internal
- Open/closing periods for all companies (South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini)
- Reviewing and signing of all monthly general ledger reconciliations for companies (South Africa, Lesotho and Eswatini)
- Ensuring accuracy and completeness of Accounts Receivable intercompany accounts and confirmations.
- Reviewing and releasing journals in SAP
- Staff vendor confirmations
- Banking (signatories update, add new operators/designated person for the online banking)
- Process requests for guarantees
- Eswatini Annual Financial Statements
- Assist with audit pack queries
- Staff management, development, support and performance reviews
- Attending to ad-hoc requests from Head of Shared Services and the business
- Interacting with internal and external auditors and offering support during financial reporting periods
Minimum required qualification, experience: Competencies:
- Bachelor of Commerce Degree or relevant tertiary qualification
- Articles / training contract with audit firm / TOPP
- Minimum 3 years in a financial accountant / management accountant role
- 3 years post articles
- Sound MS Office experience
- SAP experience will be an advantage
