Finance Officer (Trainee)

Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records to ensure accuracy.
• Perform timely reconciliations to maintain precise financial accounts.
• Receive and process invoices, expense forms, and payment requests.
• Maintain accounting records, make copies, and file documents.
• File and remit taxes and other financial obligations.
• Manage financial and accounting software used by the company.
• Assist in clearing goods through customs formalities.
• Support the preparation of annual company budgets.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: BCom in Accounting, General Accounting, or a relevant qualification.
• Skills & Experience:
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent business partnering and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAGE 1 (added advantage).
  • Valid driver’s license (added advantage).
