As we continue to expand, we are looking for a passionate Finance Officer (Trainee) with a BCom Accounting, General Accounting (GA), or other relevant qualification to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain finance records contributing to overall financial accuracy
- Perform timely reconciliations to ensure accurate financial accounts and records
- Receive and process invoices, expense forms, and payment requests
- Maintain accounting records, including filing and document management
- File and remit taxes and other statutory financial obligations
- Initiate and manage financial and accounting software used by the company
- Assist with clearing goods through customs formalities
- Assist with the preparation of the company’s annual budgets
Experience and Skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Good business partnering ability and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities
- Knowledge of SAGE One will be an added advantage
- Possession of a driver’s licence will be an added advantage
