We have an excellent opportunity for a Finance Officer (Revenue and Administration) to work in out Finance and Information Management Section.

The post holder will manage the accounts receivable function ensuring effective and efficient processing and management of revenue and receivables including member country pledges and contributions.

The job involves liaising with High Commissions and Ministries, as well as supervision and hands on processing and recording of administrative and financial accounting information. It also involves production of ad-hoc and periodic management information from the accounting system and other databases. The post holder is expected to work with minimum supervision, and be able to prioritise their work and manage their time effectively.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

To be considered you will need to have at least 5 years’ bookkeeping, including accounts receivable experience, or experience of working in a similar finance environment. You will also need to have good IT skills; experience of computerised accounting and electronic banking; experience in managing finance administration tasks with high organisational skills; and an ability to investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries.

You will also need a degree in accounting or equivalent, and be ACCA part qualified, AAT full qualified or equivalent
