Finance Officer
Senqu Holdings is seeking a Finance Officer to support the Company’s financial and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for effective cash management, account administration, financial record-keeping, and cash-flow monitoring while maintaining accurate and confidential financial information.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Support company operations by maintaining proper office systems and supervising relevant staff.
- Ensure company records are properly stored, protected, retrieved, and transferred correctly.
- Improve office efficiency by organizing office systems and workspace layouts and arranging the purchasing of necessary office equipment.
- Ensure that cash is handled and recorded correctly.
- Oversee the administration of company accounts and ensure that records are accurate and up to date.
- Complete all required cash management documents and prepare regular reports for management.
- Monitor cash received and paid out, check transactions, and ensure that accounts are properly balanced.
- Prepare and monitor cash-flow forecasts on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Prepare cash-flow reports for management and compare actual cash movements with expected cash flow, investigating and reporting any significant differences.
- Oversee account administration to ensure that payments and other financial commitments are properly managed and met on time.
Minimum Requirements
- A qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field will be an advantage.
- 2–3 years’ experience in cash management, accounts administration, finance, or a similar position.
- Experience handling cash transactions, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Basic accounting and cash-flow management skills, with good numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Strong record-keeping and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
