Location: CCBL – Maseru, Lesotho
Reporting To: Country Manager

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest Coca-Cola bottler in Africa, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a market leader in the non-alcoholic ready-to-drink (NARTD) segment, with an extensive footprint across Africa and a workforce of approximately 18,000 employees, including around 7,200 in South Africa and Lesotho.


Key Purpose Statement

Coca-Cola Beverages Lesotho (CCBL) is seeking a talented and experienced executive to lead its Finance Department as Finance Manager. This critical role is responsible for overseeing the financial strategy, managing assets and resources efficiently, and ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the business. The Finance Manager will report directly to the Country Manager and serve as a key member of the leadership team.


Key Responsibilities

1. Finance Leadership

  • Serve as the principal financial advisor to the Country Management Team (CMT)
  • Drive strategic financial planning and investment analysis
  • Promote commercial orientation and value creation across the business
  • Coordinate strategic plan development and performance measurement
  • Provide financial insights aligned with group benchmarks
  • Champion cost management and financial accountability

2. General Accounting & Finance

  • Implement sound accounting systems and practices
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and capex reporting
  • Manage treasury functions and working capital
  • Oversee IT systems supporting financial operations
  • Lead supplier and credit management initiatives

3. Governance & Control

  • Promote corporate governance and internal controls
  • Lead performance management and succession planning
  • Ensure legal and insurance compliance
  • Engage with external stakeholders to support business continuity

4. Planning & Reporting

  • Analyze financial and macroeconomic data for forecasting
  • Coordinate budgeting and cost control
  • Oversee costing, pricing, and inventory management
  • Review and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • Professional qualification: ICAG, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Member in good standing with the Lesotho Institute of Accountants (LIA)

Added Advantage

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years in accounting and financial management
  • At least 5 years in financial management within a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 5 years of in-country (Lesotho) financial management experience

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in diverse and dynamic environments
