We are searching for three dedicated and dynamic Finance Managers to join our Southern Africa team, each based in their respective country – Namibia, Zambia, or Botswana. Your mission:
Your mission is to empower our local finance team to be more efficient and competent. Through dedicated liaisons, process enhancements, and overall team development, you’ll play a pivotal role in our success.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports and data analysis
- Supervise the local accounting team and collaborate with external parties
- Manage local tax matters and ensure compliance
- Improve financial reporting and analysis processes
- Contribute to the preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts
- Act as the primary point of contact between the group and the local market for finance-related questions
- Oversee banking operations, including authorizing payments and transactions
- Lead fund-raising and investment initiatives, including due diligence, contracting, and reporting
- Drive cost management efforts, including cost analysis and savings initiatives
- Establish and manage the procurement function, processes, and approvals
- Build a network with local and expat business leaders to gain valuable market insights
QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
- 3-5 years of finance experience, with an additional advantage for 2-3 years of audit experience
- Proactive “getting things done” mindset
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong sense of responsibility, precision, and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Proficiency in English and outstanding computer skills
