We are searching for three dedicated and dynamic Finance Managers to join our Southern Africa team, each based in their respective country – Namibia, Zambia, or Botswana. This is a unique opportunity to blend your financial expertise with the culture, beauty and adventure that Southern Africa has to offer!

Your mission:

Your mission is to empower our local finance team to be more efficient and competent. Through dedicated liaisons, process enhancements, and overall team development, you’ll play a pivotal role in our success. 

  • Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial reports and data analysis
  • Supervise the local accounting team and collaborate with external parties
  • Manage local tax matters and ensure compliance
  • Improve financial reporting and analysis processes
  • Contribute to the preparation of the company’s budget and financial forecasts
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the group and the local market for finance-related questions
  • Oversee banking operations, including authorizing payments and transactions
  • Lead fund-raising and investment initiatives, including due diligence, contracting, and reporting
  • Drive cost management efforts, including cost analysis and savings initiatives
  • Establish and manage the procurement function, processes, and approvals
  • Build a network with local and expat business leaders to gain valuable market insights

QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business
  • 3-5 years of finance experience, with an additional advantage for 2-3 years of audit experience
  • Proactive “getting things done” mindset
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility, precision, and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize
  • Proficiency in English and outstanding computer skills
