Metropolitan Lesotho Asset Managers, a proud subsidiary of Momentum Group (listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange), is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual to fill the role of a Finance & Investment Administrator based in Maseru, Lesotho. The successful candidate will work closely with and report directly to the General Manager.
𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐄:
To lead and manage investment administration and finance operations to ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service aligned with business goals.
𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
• Process fund transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, switches) and resolve client queries.
• Maintain accurate records, reconcile cash and investment balances, and manage financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, audit files, and statutory reports.
• Ensure compliance with collective investment schemes regulations, applicable laws and internal controls.
• Manage investor allocations, drawdowns, and payment processes.
• Deliver on SLAs and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Drive operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Support budgeting, financial controls, and innovation initiatives.

𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA is an added advantage).
• 1-3 years’ experience in general administration and/or financial accounting.
• Knowledge of asset management systems and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with collective investment schemes and fund-level accounting.
