JOB TITLE: FINANCE ASSISTANT
Responsible To: Assistant Finance Officer
Duty Station: Mafeteng
JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Assistant Finance Officer, the incumbent is responsible for collecting revenue and trust monies, and preparing payments for suppliers of goods, services and works.
MAIN DUTIES
1. Revenue and Trust Monies Collection
- Collects revenue and trust monies.
- Receives revenue and trust monies from clients.
- Issues receipts for all cash received.
- Prepares collector’s statements.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Option 1:
- Diploma in Business Studies / Business Management / Business Administration with a strong bias in Accounting
OR
Option 2:
- Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
