Elizabeth  Glaser  Pediatric  Aids  Foundation  (EGPAF)  is  a  USA  based  Organization  with  public  health  programs  around  the  World.  It  creates  a  future  of  hope  for  children  and  families worldwide  by  eradicating  pediatric  AIDS,  providing  care  and  treatment  for  people  with  HIV  and  AIDS,  and  accelerating  the  discovery  of  new  treatments  for  other  serious  and  life threatening  pediatric  illnesses.  EGPAF’s  work  is  funded  through  private  donations,  PEPFAR  via  the  US  Agency  for  International  Development  (USAID)  and  the  Centre  for  Disease Control  (CDC)),  Unit aid  etc.

 

JOB  SUMMARY

Reporting  to  the  Finance  Manager  the  incumbent  shall:

  • Assist the  Finance  Manager  in  preparing  requisite  documents  for  budget         management.
  • Participate in  development  of  annual  budget  for  ongoing  awards
  • Perform and  complete  special  projects  and  other  financial  duties  as  required by  the  Finance  Manager
  • Provides inputs  in  preparation  of  different  Donor  monthly  and  quarterly       reports  to  meet  different  Donor  reporting  requirements.
  • Provides assistance  during  Sub  grantees’  compliance  visits.
  • Conducts physical  verification  of  all  assets  on  the  comprehensive office asset  register  in  line  with  standard  Donor/Foundation  requirements.
  • Collates all  Financial  data  for  preparation  of  Accrual  Reports  for  submission to  International  Accounting  in  line  with  scheduled  reporting  deadlines

 

REQUIRED  QUALIFICATIONS  

Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Economics  & Accounting

 

EXPERIENCE

Three  (3)  years  of  experience  working  on financial  planning,  analysis  and  budget management in  an  NGO  or  Donor  related community.

Experience  projects  working  on  USAID/CDC funded  projects  will  be  an  added  advantage.
