The H Band Field Services Consultant role is based within CBU.

The role of the Field Services Consultant is to drive sales and the uptake of Vodacom Products and Services across segments and channels in order to achieve sales targets or key channels in the county. Manage and maintain the relationship with respective trade and channel partners, the internal organisation and suppliers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drive growth in sales, revenue, market share and leadership, TNPS, and NPS and achievement of targets and KPIs across segments and channels
  • Implement and ensure success of new products, services, and projects and identify key opportunities to drive product and project awareness and price transformation
  • Adhere to weekly visits and monthly call cycles
  • Support franchise operators with day-to-day running of the business – manage the look-and-feel, merchandising, staff training and customer experience
  • Identify strategic marketing events to maximize profitability for area of responsibility, facilitate promotions, presence branding and recommend ATL marketing opportunities
  • Implement and manage recovery plans for underperforming stores
  • Manage third party outsource relationships to deliver on the Vodacom KPIs as per SLAs and proactively manage the development and implementation of the sales strategy, projects and general management, e.g. MSI.
  • Monitor competitor activity and ensure gap closure through the development of competitor activity plans
  • Expand pop-up store locations opportunities

In addition to the details listed above, the ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge and understanding of:

  • Achievement against targets revenue, connections, net promotor score and value added services

  • Gathering relevant and accurate market share intelligence

  • Brand management survey results

  • Industry, products and services knowledge

  • Customer obsessed

  • Ambitious and competitive & competing to win

  • Sales planning and business development

  • No responsibility for budget

  • No direct reports, will be expected to liaise with outsourced service providers – Field services, and agencies.

    The base location for this role is Bloemfontein. (Platinum County)
