Position: Field Operations Team Lead
Location: Maseru (with field travel)

About the Organisation
Lema Agrivest is a climate-smart agriculture enterprise specialising in hydroponic and aquaponic farming systems design, manufacturing, installation, and agricultural innovation. The organisation works with farmers, institutions, and development partners to build sustainable food systems in Lesotho and across Africa.
Role Purpose
The Field Operations Team Lead will oversee day-to-day field activities, system installations, and maintenance work while leading teams in a professional, disciplined, and solution-oriented manner. This is a hands-on leadership role combining supervision with practical technical execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise field staff, technicians, and interns
- Coordinate installation and maintenance of hydroponic and aquaponic systems
- Ensure availability and proper use of tools, materials, and equipment
- Monitor project timelines and report progress
- Maintain professional conduct with clients and partners on-site
- Plan daily field activities and allocate tasks clearly
- Enforce health, safety, and quality standards on-site
- Liaise with the office team on scheduling and logistics
Minimum Technical Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, or a related field
- At least 2–4 years of practical field experience
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Willingness to work on-site and travel when required
- Project management experience will be an added advantage
- Valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage
