Farm Coordinator Internship Opportunity
Location: Maseru, Lesotho
Duration: 6 months’ contract with a possibility of renewal

At Sentinel Farms, we are passionate about sustainable agriculture and committed to producing high-quality, locally grown crops. We’re currently offering a hands-on internship opportunity for someone eager to gain real-world farm management experience.
Position: Farm Coordinator Intern
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated intern to support our farm operations. You will work closely with our farm manager and team to help coordinate daily activities, monitor crop progress, and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling farm activities (i.e. ploughing and planting)
- Support planting, weeding, harvesting, and irrigation operations
- Monitor crop health and assist with pest control measures
- Facilitate soil testing activities
- Keep accurate records of field activities and inventory
- Help coordinate labour teams and manage resources
- Contribute to sustainability and improvement initiatives
- Use GPS tracking tools to monitor field activities, vehicle movement, and equipment usage
Requirements:
- Passion for agriculture, sustainability, or rural development
- Ability to multi-task
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to work outdoors and get hands-on
- Familiarity with block farming activities
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Valid driver’s license
- Qualifications in Agriculture or related fields
- A degree/diploma in Environmental Science is an added advantage
